Birders Tally 48 Species at Little Red Schoolhouse
The quest for early spring migrants as well as waterfowl kicked off at Little Red Schoolhouse on April 16. Our birding group enjoyed finding 48 species while hiking near the lake and through the woodlands and grassy areas. Diverse Habitats Show Off Diverse Species
The diverse habitats at Helmick Nature Preserve/Old Plank Rd Trail didn’t disappoint our birders on May 8. The group found a good variety of species in the marshland, open water, grassy areas, and wooded sections.
