Hope you can join us as we look for arriving winter ducks and swans, a variety of sparrows, Pine Siskins, and more. Some of the waterfowl can be swimming a good distance from the shore. We’ll have scopes to help ID the more distant birds. If you have a scope, you may want to bring it.
Meet in the Rt 45 (La Grange Rd) parking lot. There are no restroom facilities. The walk is on a mowed lawn path with some moderate inclines.
The bird walk is free and open to everyone. New birders are welcome! No registration required.

- Masks are optional for fully vaccinated participants. This could change if state or Cook County COVID safety protection requirements change by the event date, e.g., masks become required for fully vaccinated people at an outdoor event.
- We request that anyone who is not fully vaccinated wear a face mask covering both nose and mouth
- If you are feeling ill or have any symptoms of COVID or have been exposed to anyone who has COVID, please play it safe for everyone involved and do not attend.
