Date: Sunday, May 1, 2022

Lakes, woodlands, ancient sand dunes, native prairie, and wetlands make up the 193 acres of this preserve. We’ll explore several habitat areas looking for early spring thrushes, warblers, and other in-coming migrants and year-round residents.
Meet in the parking lot next to the main meeting cabin.
The walk is on natural surfaces (dirt trails and wood chip and gravel paths). There is a porta potty at the parking lot.
The bird walk is free and open to everyone. New birders are welcome! No registration required.
Leaders: Marlys Oosting and Judy Johnson
Last minute event changes: Occasionally weather or site conditions, such as a flooded path, necessitate a last minute cancellation. Use the form below to sign up for an event change notification. We’ll email you if this bird walk has to be cancelled.
