Learn about the fascinating geologic history of the Chicago area. Dave will explain the early geologic forces that shaped the terrain and influenced the local ecosystem as well as the more recent human interventions that altered some of the area's terrain and ecology. Dave is a Professor at Columbia College in Chicago, a popular speaker and lecturer, and an avid outdoor adventurer. He is also an accomplished musician and is known to end presentations with a musical recap of Chicago's geologic history.
