Enjoy pre-Super Bowl Sunday with a special bird watch. The goals of this annual event are to get people outside during Super Bowl weekend, bring birding and stewardship communities together, and of course, look for owls and other over-wintering bird species at the Tinley Creek Killdeer Wetlands and Bartel Grassland.
The event is hosted by Thorn Creek Audubon, Friends of Bartel Grassland, and Audubon Great Lakes. Members will help look for Short-eared Owls, Northern Harriers, Bald Eagles, and any other birds hunting around the observation area.
